Williamsburg Wedding Photographer | William and Mary Wedding

This William & Mary wedding showcases some of my favorite things about folks doing things their own way! Jennifer & Mike wanted to focus their wedding day on the ceremony and portraits with their families afterward, so that’s all they hired photographers for! We arrived as people were filing into the ceremony space, and left after portraits were done! Then we went on our merry way and they hung out at Jennifer’s parents’ house for a pool party and backyard cook-out. Their choice in coverage is the perfect way to show that you don’t have to have a huge wedding to warrant quality photography, and that you don’t have to have all-day photography coverage to tell a cohesive photographic story.

This classic William & Mary wedding included an understated ceremony in the Wren Chapel, followed by portraits in the portico and the surrounding campus. Jennifer graduated from William & Mary, and enjoyed making new memories in the sacred spaces of her beloved alma mater.
