Ohhhh, centerpieces.
Sigh.
One of those budget-busting, “I don’t know, what do YOU want to do” chores that you’d really just rather hand over to your mama and be done.
But wait!
Centerpieces don’t have to be boring and time consuming and you shouldn’t have to give up fun stuff in your budget to make space for them.
Using very simple, seasonal plants we created these centerpieces that can be placed tightly together or spread out on a large table.
We love mason jars. We know YOU love mason jars. We always have.
But for these centerpieces we needed something a wee bit heavier so we used pitchers.
Now, our centerpieces are very “us”. They’re a little undone – a lot like our jeans and messy ponytail selves. You can bunch them tighter, make the stems all the same length – the options are endless.
Seasonal…fresh…wild… it’s where it’s at.
What’s that you say? You have everything but the cotton?
Never fear! My (this is Jennifer here) wonderful husband has agreed to leave us a few rows of cotton in the field this year so that our sweet brides can have it at their weddings.
Sighhhhh. Now you know why I chose to become his bride.
