fall is right around the corner – and it has the gals of freshly wed looking forward to autumn weddings. today on the blog there’s a new take on the (now) somewhat traditional ‘candy bar’ – it’s a caramel apple bar! we’re all for taking something healthy and fancyin’ it up with chocolate and sugary confections!
we can’t wait to see what our fall brides have thought up! but until then, enjoy the caramel apple bar:
teacup <3
they’re understated and beautiful – perfect for wedding decor!
instead of kraft sticks or tongue depressors, use nature’s own caramel apple stick… sticks!
mmm… the good stuff. this is a caramel apple drizzled with milk chocolate, then white chocolate, and sprinkles with sugar in the raw!
teacup toppings – white chocolate shavings, milk chocolate shavings, and crushed pecans!
the subtle patters of vintage china pair well with the natural elements in this DIY wedding bar
you could choose to have the apples already dipped in caramel for your guests to decorate or to have a fondue style bar, whatever suits your fancy! keep the apples whole or slice them into pieces – either way you should find what works for you and your beau and make this caramel apple bar your own!
