Breanna Peterson | Trash The Dress
The words ‘trash your dress’ may be tempting or a bit frightening, either way they’re meant to be fun. How trashed the dress gets is completely up to you. When I do these sessions, the brides always end up in the water. It only seems fitting since we live on an island & the ocean is visible from just about every view.
These sessions are also perfect if you’re doing a destination wedding. While the ceremony will take place outside of your hometown, it gives you the opportunity to put your dress on again & capture moments with familiar backgrounds.
They can also include your husband or it can be something you do alone. Another fun option? Trash your dress with a good friend!
If you’re interested in ‘trashing your dress,’ talk to your wedding photographer about setting up a session. If it’s not something they offer, they may be able to point you in the right direction. Just remember, the dress will be cleaned whether it’s ‘trashed’ or not, so give yourself a reason to wear it once more!
